Support Ukraine

Ukraine continues to live through Russia's full-scale war. If you would like to support the people who continue to live, create, and care for one another here, I encourage you to contribute to trusted initiatives working across humanitarian aid, environmental recovery, culture, documentation, and community resilience. Some organizations and initiatives I personally recommend include:

  • Come Back Alive Foundation — one of Ukraine's most trusted organisations supporting the country's defence and veterans.

  • Voices of Children — providing long-term psychological support, advocacy, and rehabilitation programmes for children and families affected by war.

  • Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group — NGO aimed to consolidate efforts of experts and scientists to protect Biodiversity and support the network of Protected Areas in Ukraine.

  • Ecodia — documenting the environmental consequences of the war while advocating for climate justice and sustainable recovery.

  • INDEX: Institute for Documentation and Exchange — supporting documentation, artistic research, publishing, and international collaboration around war, memory, and contemporary culture.

  • You may also help Lena Samoilenko, a volunteer who regularly travels to the Kherson region to deliver humanitarian aid directly to communities living under constant shelling. Supporting grassroots volunteers often means helping those who are able to respond quickly to urgent local needs.

Many artists, writers, and cultural practitioners have taken up arms to defend their homes and communities against Russia's aggression. By reading their books, supporting their artistic work, or engaging with Ukrainian culture, you help sustain a cultural landscape that continues to endure and evolve despite the war.

Please remember those who lost their lives defending the freedom and dignity of others. Their lives, work, and sacrifices remain an inseparable part of our cultural memory.

Thank you for standing with Ukraine!
